    Reception at the airport then transfer to Colombo. Check into an elegant guest house before quietly taking the pulse of the capital. A few hours of relaxation, a first walk and, when the sun goes down, a drink or dinner facing the ocean to celebrate the start of the journey.

    From Colombo to the wilds

    A guided morning by tuk-tuk through old Colombo, between lively markets, temples, colonial architecture and scenes of daily life.     A morning away from the major tourist sites to discover the surrounding countryside and share a local lunch. When the heat begins to subside, head to Mihintale, a mecca of Sri Lankan Buddhism. A few walks later, the northern landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see under the last lights of the day.

    The crystal clear waters of Pigeon Island

    Departure early in the morning for Pigeon Island, when the waters are still peaceful. Mask and snorkel to discover the seabed of this national park, then return to the coast for lunch at Nilaveli. The afternoon continues without constraints, between swimming, beach and tropical mildness.

    Head to Heeloya for an accessible guided hike through the rural landscapes of the Kandy mountains. Small villages, rice terraces, tea plantations and scenes of daily life accompany the walk. Return home in the afternoon to enjoy the swimming pool and the calm of the mountains.

    Ella, between mountains and the sweetness of life

    A day dedicated to Ella's must-sees: hiking to Little Adam's Peak, exploring the spectacular Nine Arch Bridge and stopping in the village's cafes and restaurants. The day continues in the heights with a visit to the peaceful Buddhist monastery of Mahamevnawa.

    From the mountains to the ocean

    The mountains gradually fade away to give way to coconut palms and the Indian Ocean. Installation in your charming accommodation in Madiha, then free day to discover the village and its surroundings at your own pace. In the evening, head to Mirissa for dinner in one of the lively places on the coast.

    To the rhythm of the ocean

    Depending on the sea conditions, go swimming with the large sea turtles of Polhena or try surfing in Weligama Bay. The rest of the day is spent in slow motion: lunch in Mirissa or Weligama, beach, cafes and a few hours without a program facing the ocean.

    Galle in the last light

    A morning without waking up and a last day to enjoy the South Coast in your own way. At the end of the afternoon, head to Galle Fort to discover its ramparts, its colonial streets, its shops and its small addresses. Sunset over the ocean then dinner in the heart of the old town.
